Understanding Your Diagnosis

Compression therapy is a key component for management of medical conditions involving lower leg edema as evidenced by lower leg swelling.  Causes of edema include fluid build-up, inflammation, injury, blood clots, heart disease, venous dysfunction, damage to lymph nodes, changes to the lymphatic system, diseases involving the liver or kidneys and pregnancy.
